Boxed Jesus

I've had Him in a box for so many years. Re-imagine Jesus with no limitations.

Recently, I have been immersed in the TV program, The Chosen. It has caused me to reimagine; to toss aside previous ideas of what I thought it might be like to be in Jesus’ presence. It shattered the religious box I had Him in; a very holy unapproachable one. Yes, I know the Word became flesh but, I found myself separating Him from mankind into the "holy" category and unapproachable to someone like me.

The manner in which the program beautifully illustrates Him has wrecked my previous notions allowing me to reconsider how He may have interacted so personally with mankind - not as unapproachable, but as welcoming and inclusive toward someone like me, an unholy sinner.
