Peering into my past I would compare myself to an old piece of nicked-up of furniture that’s lost its appeal to the human eye and set aside as junk. No worth or beauty to be found in the eye of the world, the beholder.
But to the one who calls himself the Restorer, He sees value beneath the corrosion and brokenness of sin. Ever so gently He picks up the discarded soul and carries it into the Holy of Holies. There the rejected individual encounters the Restorer's presence; His glory. His grace-filled words of love began to strip away the layers of damage caused by deceptions lure. What was once considered useless has been brought back to life again; restored.

Number 17:8 NLV - "The next day Moses went into the meeting tent of the Law. And he saw that the walking stick of Aaron for the house of Levi had begun to grow buds and flowers and almonds."
