WHEN WIN

I was listening to a message by TD Jakes on my morning walk the other day. It triggered this thought; with God, it’s always a WHEN WIN.

Genesis 18:13-14 (NIV) – “Then the Lord said to Abraham, “Why did Sarah laugh and say, ‘Will I really have a child, now that I am old?’ Is anything too hard for the Lord? I will return to you at the appointed time next year, and Sarah will have a son.”

Here’s the big issue for me; the WHEN. I’m like most individuals – I want my WHEN now, please. God has an appointed time if I will just be still and trust Him at His word, His holy promise. But I’ve been a lot like Sarah – I have allowed doubt to question the dream or promise causing me to run ahead of God. Then in my own weak human efforts, I’ve tried to force my WIN only to make a mess.

Whatever promise you are waiting to be fulfilled don’t be discouraged today – God is faithful and at the appointed time He will fulfill His promise to you. Nothing, absolutely nothing is impossible for Him.

This year – let’s wait for God’s appointed time for our WHEN WIN!
